What is Duet?
Duet is an online philanthropic platform that enables donors to provide meaningful aid to vulnerable families in a more dignified, efficient, and personal way. Families request the exact items they need to rebuild their lives, and donors pay for those items on their behalf. We currently provide support to refugee families in Greece, and are actively expanding for COVID-19 relief in LA.
We are a group of over 20 recent graduates and students, largely from USC and other California colleges. We have been operating since March 2019. Since then, we have facilitated over $60,000 in donations and built a donor community of over 500 members.
Duet has been featured in Viterbi News and Marshall News.
Duet is currently registered as a nonprofit, and is pending 501(c)(3) status.
