To facilitate this, we implemented a fairness-based matching algorithm that takes into account the quantity of donations received by each refugee family, and matches you with a family that has received relatively few donations compared to our other families. Over the long term, this ensures that all of our refugee families will have the opportunity to receive the aid that they need.
